I’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the most creative and forward-thinking businesses in the industry as a seasoned web developer. I have developed my proficiency in a variety of programming languages and web development frameworks over the course of my career, enabling me to make specialised and effective websites that cater to the particular requirements of each customer.
Vira Health January 2002 – present
Development of backend admin and coach portals as well as API for use with mobile applications. Additionally, I created the Klayvio CRM integration, updated an earlier Twilio integration, and upgraded the Symfony framework to the most recent stable version. Written throughout development, unit and functional tests are executed using github actions on push. Through AWS, the application architecture is managed. Before uploading any work to the github repository, it must first be code reviewed by a teammate.
Daily stand ups and workload is managed via clickup.

Equine Register May 2021 – January 2022
Convert a static website currently in use into a laravel application with a backend content management system so the customer can contribute content, news, and ranks. For managing the material and standings of competing international sports horses, microservice architecture was developed using lumen. When a pull request is made to a github repository github actions were performed and code reviews were frequently performed.
Projects managed via Jira and daily stand up calls took place every morning.

Appoly February 2020 – May 2021
Create portals for clients to log into to access api data, custom web applications, backend apis for use with mobile applications that frequently use OAuth2 implementation, unit and integration tests are written during development, and continuous integration via Chipper CI is set up on push to the staging server.
Utilizing Larval Forge, manage servers while maintaining continuous contact with clients and project managers. Assist in conducting interviews with prospective new developers, examine colleagues’ code when a pull request is made, assist/advise coworkers with their present jobs as needed, and fill in for the lead developer while they are away on vacation.

Propeller April 2014 – March 2019
Communication with account managers and project managers, creation of an internal content management system (CMS) and e-marketing platform utilising the FuelPHP MVC Framework, creation of new WordPress features, upkeep of WordPress site templates, and creation of internal APIs.
